David Lloyd George described the Ceiriog Valley as “a little bit of heaven on earth”. It sounds like an exaggeration until you go there. Which is what you now have the chance to do. Absolutely free of charge.

Just fill in the form and send it back to us. Your answers will help us make the North Wales Borderlands an even better place to visit. They could also win you a two-night activity break for four in the Ceiriog Valley.

You’ll stay in the 18th century Golden Pheasant country hotel in Glyn Ceiriog. Then, to work off your full Welsh breakfast, you’ll go walking and horse riding through
the Ceiriog Valley as guests of Simply Nice Tours.

You even get to visit Coed Llandegla mountain biking centre. They make the best bacon butty in Britain. You’ll have earned it.

The closing date for entries is 31st December 2008. The winner will be chosen at random from all completed entries by competition organisers Wrexham County Borough Council. The winner will be notified by post. No cash alternative.
